Ryan joined Baupost in 2017 and focuses on derivatives, portfolio hedging, distressed claims, insurance, and litigation-related investments. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Managing Director at Stark Investments in Milwaukee and London. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Doctor of Pharmacy and received his J.D. from Marquette University. Ryan serves as a board member for Tenacre County Day School in Wellesley, MA as well as for the Wellesley United Soccer Club.
